Touchscreen issue after Fall 2018 update

Lost touchscreen ability after the latest Fall 2018 update. (THINKPAD YOGA)

Tried updating drivers, uninstall and reinstall drivers.

Rolled back to previous version and touchscreen still not working.

Finally reinstalled Windows 10 and still no touchscreen.

The touchpad and pen function without any issues...

Anyone else with touch screen issues after latest update.

No current solutions via Lenovo site.

Hi KWM. I'm Greg, an installation specialist and 9 year Windows MVP, here to help you.

Here are some troubleshooting steps for touch issues:
https://www.groovypost.com/howto/fix-unresponsi...
http://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/04/sl...

I would ask Lenovo Support if this is a known issue, using their forums if necessary.
Does the model have an Intel Platform driver that solved 1809 touch issues in this Thinkpad: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkPad-Tablets/T...?

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.

Thanks for your feedback.

If this is a showstopper, you can choose to go back to previous build also. (Windows Key+I > Update & security > Recovery > Go back to previus Build). But I would recommend that if this is the only problem you are facing, you should stay put as in subsequent patches, it would be corrected.

I would also recommend that you submit this issue as a feedback to Windows team through Feedback Hub

Thank you for your reply. I did go back to previous build no change. I have even resorted to recovery/reset two times and no change. I see that the new update has caused other some serious problems for others like loss of files which I have not experienced so I feel lucky. I expect to wait for an update or patch to correct my issue. I feel it is more on the Lenovo/Thinkpad end on this problem.

Thank you for your reply. So far these steps have not corrected my touchscreen issue, but I am still working on it. I feel it is more on the Lenovo/ThinkPad end on this problem. I will continue to check with Lenovo & Microsoft support for updates.
