Tons of Error messages for months. Store Apps fail install, windows won't update, etc..

I've looked at each of these types of errors individually, spent hours on hours following the Microsoft instructions to fix each one, and so far nothing has worked, This is my 2nd clean install. And still, same thing over and over. Here is a grab of todays problems...

These Are Windows update errors usually caused due to the updates not getting installed properly.

Windows update Troubleshooter.

I suggest you to run the Windows Update troubleshooter it will automatically fix some common problems installing updates and check if it helps to resolve the issue. Click the below link:

I also suggest you to check if you are able to access Windows Update services and also make sure that the following services are started. If it is not started follow the below mentioned steps:

a. Press Windows key + R, type "services.msc" (without quotes) in start run box and press Enter.

b. Locate Windows Update service.

c. Right click on the Windows Update service and select Properties.

d. In Start-up type, select Enable.

e. Click Start under Service status.

f. Click OK.

g. Repeat the steps c to f for the following services also:

Background Intelligent Transfer Service & Cryptographic Service.

I tried all of that and nothing helped. Windows Update Is currently running. Background Intelligent Transfer was not running, Was Start Type Manual. Changed to Automatic Start, Cryptographic was running.

I find it extremely annoying that the great Microsoft and their Highly touted Windows 10, with the Application Store Model, can't seem to get the Store right. I know there are so many others dealing with the same issues. What good is the Store and APPs if you can't get in to work. Here's a sampling of what I found in the following logs.. Please have someone figure this out.

in the Applications and Services Logs\Microsoft\Application Resource Management.....1,066 errors.

"ApplicationResourceManagement MRT WinRT APIs errors"

in the Applications and Services Logs\Microsoft\AppLocker.. .....597 errors

"srpapi.dll: AppLocker component not available on this SKU."

in the Applications and Services Logs\Microsoft\Known Folders......925 warnings mostly the following 2 error codes.

"Error 0x80070002 occurred while verifying known folder"

"Error 0x80070005 occurred while verifying known folder"

in the Applications and Services Logs\Microsoft\PackageStateRoaming

"Failed to verify under lock that package family name microsoft.windowsstore_8wekyb3d8bbwe is at version 0. (Result 0x800705B4)"

"Failed to get units for collection microsoft.windowsstore_8wekyb3d8bbwe-0 with locality 2. (Result 0x800705B4)"

in the Applications and Services Logs\Microsoft\SettingSync

"Local create for collection packagestate-microsoft.windowsstore_8wekyb3d8bbwe-0 failed. (Result: 0x800705B4)"

In Applications and Services Log\Microsoft\Store ....Since April 2, there are 27,128 events .

"""Skipping license manager: PFN microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps_17.6769.40891.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe
Function: InvokeLicenseManagerRequired
Source: enduser\winstore\licensemanager\apisethost\activationapis.cpp (205)"""

Applications and Services Log\Microsoft\state repository ......... I've got 4,552 events since March... most of them are either of the following...

Error 0x80070005: TileDataLayer.AppInfo.Windows::Internal::StateRepository::TileDataLayer::AppInfoFactoryServer::GetByUserSecurityIdentifierAndApplicationUserModelId failed [ClientId=3904]

Error 0x80070005: Package.Windows::Internal::StateRepository::PackageFactoryServer::GetByPackageFullName failed [ClientId=184]

I found the solution and all Store Apps are installing without issue.

All Users, Including SYSTEM must have full control over the "Packages" folder and all it's contents.

C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\Packages.

Be sure all inheritable permissions are enabled and all users inherit permissions from your user account including the SYSTEM. Be sure to include the "Users" group account as well.

Did you try resetting the update components as suggested by Deepak Kodi?

In case you haven’t done so, I suggest you to refer the link below for the steps to manually reset the Update components and check if it helps.
