This application can be launched with a release version of Microsoft Windows 95 OSR2.1/98/ME/NT 4.0/2000/XP/Server 2003 ONLY

Silent Hunter 3 and 4 DOES NOT reconize Windows 7 (i.e.,This application can be launched with a release version of Microsoft Windows 95 OSR2.1/98/ME/NT 4.0/2000/XP/Server 2003 ONLY.) HELP!!!

My OS is Windows 7 Pro. and I have quite a few other games and programs that won't run in my 64-bit system

Hi WolfenOne,

 

I tried to verify the compatibility of the program with Windows 7 and was unable to find any information in Windows 7 compatibility center.

Step 1

You may runProgram Compatibility troubleshooter in windows 7and check if it helps. 

To run the Program Compatibility troubleshooter, follow the steps below:

1.    Open the Program Compatibility troubleshooter by clicking on the  Start button, and then clicking  Control Panel.

2.    In the search box, type  "troubleshooter" (without quotes), and then click  Troubleshooting.

3.    Under Programs, click Run programs made for previous versions of Windows.

4.    Follow the instructions in the troubleshooter.
