I have EXACTLY the same issue every 5-10 minutes (I'm pretty sure before I submit this post, I have to "troubleshoot" to reconnect).

It started 1.5 days ago, and I'm almost certain it's due to the last Windows update on my PC (8.1).

It is not a problem with my router or the internet provider because my phone or tablet doesn't have the problem while my PC suffers.

Please tell me (us) the way to get out of this nightmare.

Update from me.

I suffered the same issue for 2 months, and now I solved the problem.

I tried everything I could find online (ipconfig..., netsh..., , changing the power management thingy, and updating a network driver, etc.), and one thing worked for me.

Uninstall McAfee!!

I still have 1.5 years of its subscription left, but it's not worth it.  I already installed another antivirus software, and my wifi is working without the problem for more than 24 hrs (I used to have the problem every 15min-1hr).

I asked for help to the McAfee technical service, but their advice was completely useless (scanning PC, updating McAfee, etc. which I already did for the first day that I encountered the issue).

So if you are a McAfee user and can't solve the problem, get rid of McAfee from your PC and see what it happens.
