Teams issue after installing Elgato 4k60 Pro

Hi,

Hoping somebody can help with a great annoyance I've been facing recently when trying to use Teams for work on my PC.

Firstly, Teams is up to date and worked fine with my current setup until last week when I installed Elgato 4k60 Pro into my machine via PCie port.

Now whenever I try and select or check my devices under Settings within Teams it keeps defaulting to Custom. The options appear grey out and not allowing any device to be selected. Also, it's forever closing on it's own stating that there was a glitch and keep needing to reopen. Tried a fresh install of Teams but the same problem persists.

I've not had any issues with Skype/Discord/Slack as they all work as expected. Please can somebody help me get this resolved due to my company requiring Teams use for important work related tasks.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as it's drove me crazy for the past week by needing to find workarounds!

1. Window 10 Home edition

2. I did try the web app and didn't have much luck in getting it to work either

3. It allows for video capture of devices connected to the PC through HDMI. The drivers for this are the latest version and as I mentioned previously has no problems with other applications such as Skype, Discord etc. Full spec and description for this device can be found on Elgato's official website https://www.elgato.com/en/gaming/game-capture-4k60pro. Worth noting that if I disable the driver for Elgato 4k60 PRO MK2 in Device Manager on my PC the devices appear in Teams again when selecting Input/Output from the Settings > Devices

4. As briefly mentioned in point 3 when disabling the driver Team works as expected. Not sure why Teams is the only application I have installed out of many which seems to have a problem with the driver enabled when it isn't outputting any method via Teams.

Can see that others online posted (no response) in your Reddit thread facing similar issues:

Please can somebody get back to me on how best to get this sorted with a permanent fix.

Teams and Skype have this issue. So far those are the only two applications that seem to be affected. I unfortunately have the same issue, it looks like someone reached out to Elgato and they have been working on a solution but did not give an ETA for release.
