Taskbar Icon size and overall fonts

So after all my upgrades (I have 4 7pro systems running and networked) I had to add a new system hence Windows 10.   What a joke!!!!!!!!!!  It's Windows 10 PROFESSIONAL and it has so much junk on it it's CRAZY!!!!!!!!!   I can't even uninstall 3/4 of them.   Microsoft dialed in yesterday and THEY CAN'T remove them.    REALLY????????

And let's talk about the Color Metrics that used to be in Windows 7......   There is NO WAY to change your icon fonts other than to download a third party application.   Again REALLY?   Changing resolution is not a solution for us that do graphics and photography.    We pay good money for our monitors for our work.   Again it's a PRO version.    You increase the overall font size and size of the system and it throws ALL programs into that.    Hence Photoshop, Lightroom and and creative software is affected and we can't even see or use half the tools in our programs when doing so because the increase affects EVERYTHING!!!!!

The toolbar.... let's see well I CAN'T!!!!  There is NO WAY of enlarging the icons in the taskbar.   WHY???????????   Not all of us are under 40 and can't even read them.   What a poor poor design.   And again per two Microsoft tech calls they can't fix it.

Look around the internet Microsoft, read these threads here.   There are thousands of people with the same problems.   What now?

I couldn't be more dissatisfied with Windows / Microsoft right now as this was also escalated and that tech tonight dialed in and could do NOTHING once again.

So, all of us "Professionals" that can't afford enterprise are looking for copies of Windows 7 pro to purchase because this Windows 10 is a nightmare as Vista was.

What do you mean?  Windows 10 taskbar icons have the same size options that Windows 7 did.

What error do you get when you try to uninstall a program that you don't want?

If you take about 5 minutes to set some options, you can make Windows 10 look and work almost identical to Windows 7. Most people I do this for can't even tell the difference.

Check it out yourself in the sample pictures below.  If you have any trouble making yours like this, let me know and I'll help.

If you put those pictures side-by-side, the two taskbars are already the same size (same number of pixels). So you've already accomplished setting them the same way.  As you know, Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 all have the same two-size options (small or large, your choice).

You can also increase the apparent sizing of icons by going to Display Options and using the scale.  You can adjust the interface scaling between 50% and 250% (or more), so you can get exactly the size you want.

Okay.. the point that you may have over looked.    I did all that you mentioned.   See above.   Also, if I were to change the interface of anything more than 100 it throws all my Adobe and other programs into that and scales them BEYOND their scope of usability, I can not access tools or edit properly.   Increase or decreasing screen resolution is not an option either... hence I  do graphics and photography.   I didn't pay high dollar for monitors to decrease their resolution when that is a need for my work.

Correct, I would never ever suggest changing your resolution.  It is important to keep that on the native resolution that matches the actual number of pixels your monitor uses.  I too do video production and understand this deeply, and I agree with you 100%.

The scaling options, however, are completely and totally different and have been re-built entirely in Windows 10.

Not with the new update there isn't.   I have talked with Level 1, 2 and 3 techs at Microsoft and they could do nothing.   There is no fix .... why they took the metrics out of windows 10Pro is beyond me.    What a hot mess.

Oh and today ... networking.   Thought it was done and it's failing.   What a mess they have made.   I can't even create a new network / homegroup because I don't have the option.   They took that out also.   What is Microsoft thinking.    I had 5 machines running OUTSTANDING 7Pro and can't get this to even see ONE of those 4 (#5) is 10
