System clock resets itself to 1 hour slow

System clock problem windows 10

System clock resets itself to 1 hour slow

Tried synchronise but it gives error. Also with sync off. Also tried time.nist.gov got same error

Can you sync with the UK national physical labs(NPL) they set time locally

Tried using a different time zone but the computer sets the clock to 2 hr slow.

Bios is correct.

How do you set the time manually or get a correct automatic time? Thanks.

check the following in settings -> Time & Language -> Date & Time
1) turn off - Set the time zone Automatically,
2) under time zone select (UTC +00:00) Dublin, Edinburgh, Lisbon, London
(as you mentioned the UK i assume that is where you are)
3) turn on - Adjust for daylight saving time automatically

if that does not work, to set the time manually
settings -> Time & Language -> Date & Time
turn off - set the time automatically
click the change button below "change the date and time"
in the new window correct the time using the drop downs and click change

THanks. Done that. Not working. What is the cause of incorrect time

presumbly it can be the cmos+battery or the sync - there is an error with the sync.

I'm in the UK and automatic time settings is not a problem, so it must be a setting in your region setup somewhere.

When you go to Settings > Time & language also check through Additional date, time and regional settings in Related settings. This opens the old Control Panel, go through each and make sure they are correct. It should work automatically using the default time server.
