Stop Error Screen Displays Garbage

I have no clue why, but whenever Windows 7 stops, the error details are displayed either literally as a blue screen, or that and a bunch of garbage graphics. I have no clue why that happens, but if anyone can figure out a resolution, I would be very grateful. I would really like to see on-the-fly details of why Windows stopped.

The details are easy to access,open control-panel/Adm tools/event viewer/locate windows logs/

expand the tree.Locate events/warnings to the time of problem,R.click on it/properties...

Also,usually a blue-screen/mini-dump,is a memory problem,ram or virtual,if ram is ok,then

R.click my computer/properties/advanced/virtual memory/change button.With C: highlited,

set to "let system manage" click set 2X  close out, restart pc.

Hi.
Thank you for your answer. I already know how to use the Event Viewer and look at the details. In fact, I created a whole batch script that generates and places a crash report on my desktop. Also, I usually only get stop screens for three reasons: I manually generate a memory dump (MANUALLY_INITIATED_CRASH), I try to dial a phone number using an absent RAS PPPoE line (more about it in this post that is more than one year old), and when I have Windows try to connect to an absent display (VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE). But in the event that a stop screen occurs repetitively and I can't get into Windows, I will have no idea what is causing the problem. This is why I need the screen to look right. By the way, I do have a page file set.

The screen's appearance during the stop screen varies. It will always first look like this:

Then it'll either remain looking like that, or it will display a bunch of various garbage data. Here is one example:

My question is: how do I fix it? All the graphics in Windows look fine, but this is an error within itself.
