Stop code: UNEXPECTED STORE EXCEPTION

Hi,

Recently, while working in my laptop, I found everything just stopped on the screen and a blue screen appeared with "Stop code: UNEXPECTED STORE EXCEPTION". Then the system tried to boot itself but it was not completed and the screen remained black.

I tried to restore the system by creating a Windows10 installation medium in a Flash Drive from another pc and using System Restore, but ultimately its not working.

Plz help!!!!

Hi Gourav027, I am Rob, an independent and a 14 time and dual award MVP specializing in Windows troubleshooting and Bluescreen analysis. Please remember as independents we are not responsible for the development of Windows or the computer hardware and drivers. Be sure and check the hard drive and cabling. Remove ALL power then remove and replace the hard drive to ensure it has a good connection.

Boot with the Windows 10 USB and use StartUp Repair to see if it helps.

Try running StartUp Repair from a Windows 10 boot disk or USB drive.
That often will work when running from the recovery environment does
not. You can try Option 5 here and run StartUp Repair to see if it helps.
You would need to make a bootable USB or DVD using the Media Creation
Tool.

Have you added hardware recently or updated drivers? Be sure to look in Windows Updates to see if any drivers were updated there. Other lessor possibilities include antivirus/anti-spyware/security programs.

Thank you Rob for your help, but none of the mentioned ways resolved the issue.

Removed the hard disk, nothing changed and startUp Repair is also showing some error, like "no restore points have been created on your computer's system drive" and "system protection is available only in online system".

Are you running Startup Repair or trying to run System Restore from the boot disk? Please use Startup Repair from the boot disk as indicated in the links I provided.

If you also want to try System Restore from the Boot Disk use the Command Prompt Option from Troubleshoot :

at X:>

Type in

C:
(hit enter)

type in at the prompt C> rstrui.exe
(hit enter)

Did you try options 2., 3., and 7. in this link I posted above?

If nothing works you have a hardware issue and need the help of the system maker's support or that of a real computer shop (one that does its own in-shop service on that make and model).

You can try to do a Clean Install which might work.

A Clean Install would be activated with the Digital Entitlement.
