Start Menu/Windows Explorer not working, can't left click.

I've been playing with windows 10 from the beginning and I've been able to work out issues myself until now. This morning after an update my start menu won't work correctly. I can open with windows button on keyboard but left click from mouse in almost any option on windows malfunctions. Say I open windows start menu with the keyboard. I can't click on any of my pinned programs. But i can tab and arrow to them and hit enter. Settings, control panel options are all the same. I've done everything I could google all day so far. I've uninstalled updates, refreshed to an earlier point using advanced startup. I've used powershell to run sfc /scannow. I only have one account on my computer so I created a local account as a test. Everything works fine on that account. Perfect. I sign out of my account completely and into test account, then when I sign out of that one and back in to my microsoft account everything is working again. But when I restart my computer I am back to square one, I can't left click on anything. I've used task manager to restart windows explorer, and that seems to let me click on taskbar programs and such, but not pinnned programs on start menu. I'm stumped. Any suggestions out there would be really appreciated!

Nothing I did ended up fixing it. I tried that and a dozen other things I pulled up from different forums. Ended up reinstalling Windows 10. Not happy about having to reinstall all my programs.

Left click and windows key were not working. Ran the program, took about 10 minutes.

After the process finished closed CMD and restarted Windows. Worked like a charm.

Thanks for the help.

This entire process does not work, for you see; I can't even press (check) the admin box due to not being able to left click and hover + enter does not work ether. This gets me to the thing but because I can't check the box this whole fix method can't be applied.

OK MAN THIS WAS AN TERRIBLE UPDATE FROM WINDOWS 10... First after my update my USB 3.0 devices bricked my bios i had to remove every component on my pc to figure it out.. Turns out once removing my USB 3.0 and putting it in my USB 3.0 slot it was able to boot fine... Now for the issue at hand the annoying as hell LEFT CLICK NOT WORKING ON START BUTTON... What worked for me was simply to change the Windows 10 theme to something different, also once in personalization settings goto [COLORS] and at the bottom set {Transparency Effects} to OFF!!!! Also i if that doesn't work try uninstalling recent windows updates... You can also turn updates off which i recommend because most of the time they are pointless..

DISM and SFC command completed successfully and without any error.

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers |Where-Object {$_.InstallLocation -like "*SystemApps*"} | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}  completed without any error but did not fix the problem
