Start Media Player at startup and play songs in one directory only.

Several steps but each one is simply done provided that your employer [who provided your Windows 7 Enterprise Edition] has not put in any Group policies that inhibit the task.

1  Open WMP

2  Create a playlist containing the songs you want to play

3  Go to the Playlists folder - by default this will be in C:\Users\YourUserName\Music\Playlists

4  Right-click on the relevant Playlist, select Create shortcut [then rename the shortcut if you wish to]

5  Ctrl-x to cut the shortcut

6  Click on the Start button then right-click on the words All programs at the bottom then select Open

7  Navigate down through Programs to your Startup folder at

    C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

8 Ctrl-v to paste the shortcut there

Note that you will be able to amend the Playlist as much as you want as long as you do not alter its name.
