Start Media Player at startup and play songs in one directory only.
I have Windows 7 Enterprise, Windows Media Player Ver 12.0. I want Media Player to start-up and play a certain group songs in one directory only . How can this be done? And be able to turn it off easily.
Several steps but each one is simply done provided that your employer [who provided your Windows 7 Enterprise Edition] has not put in any
Group policies that inhibit the task.
1 Open WMP
2 Create a playlist containing the songs you want to play
3 Go to the Playlists folder - by default this will be in C:\Users\YourUserName\Music\Playlists
4 Right-click on the relevant Playlist, select Create shortcut [then rename the shortcut if you wish to]
5 Ctrl-x to cut the shortcut
6 Click on the Start button then right-click on the words All programs at the bottom then select
Open
7 Navigate down through Programs to your Startup folder at
