Sporadic System Freeze with Bluescreen, DPC Watchdog Violation

I have had multiple Bluescreens over the last couple Weeks but they don't seem reproducable so far.

My system freezes and then a Bluescreen follows a couple seconds later with the message DPC Watchdog Violation.

I checked Event Viewer now and there's a BugCheck Error Message: The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck.  The bugcheck was: 0x00000133 (0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000501, 0x0000000000000500, 0xfffff80069efb320). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 4cb62892-d5a7-4a64-9d22-e6414747521d.

I have uploaded the rar'd MEMORY.DMP and would apprechiate it if someone with the knowledge on how to do it would check what's causing the issues.

Thank you very much.

Hi,
My name is Igor, I have 12 Microsoft MVP awards. It's a pleasure for me to help others and I'll do all my best to help you. I'm sorry you have a problems.

Did you use Memtest Free or Memtest Pro? Free version skips some tests unfortunately.
Seems you have memory corruption. Please use driver verifier to gather additional information.
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/244617...
Run
verifier /standard /all /bootmode resetonbootfail
command, reboot PC and use it as usual. If blue screen happens, please share memory dumps to OneDrive for analysis.

Hello Igor, thank you for trying to help me with my issue.

I did use Memtest Free.

I used driver verifier like you suggested and got a bluescreen on restart right away.

Driver_Verifier_Detected_Violation

win32kfull.sys

The resetonbootfail part didn't work however, so i was stuck in a restart loop with bluescreens. I got into safe mode, grabbed the memory dump and managed to reset driver verifier.

Not sure if this dump is helpful, maybe you can see something. I don't have One Drive set up, so i hope a gdrive link works too.

edit: Just found out there's also minidumps. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Z2ceAw5GqvSDMKHndNb1S6ICd7dghmqM/view?usp=share_link

Here is two of them since i am not exactly sure which time is the correct one. Could be that both were bluescreens of the driver verifier violation.

Hello,

in the meantime i did use the 'Reset this PC' function of Windows 10 (while keeping my personal files).

Would that have the same effect as your suggestion? I guess i could have saved me a lot of work then.

In any case, if the issue comes up again, i will continue with your most recent advice and update it here.

Running this command takes only few minutes of your time and cannot be harmful. But, of course, you may wait for result of reset.

Hello,

it's been a couple weeks and the issue did not show up again.

While i don't know if it was solved by your suggestions or the win10 reset, i am very thankful for your help.

Stay safe and have a nice holiday season!
