Sound is not going to the correct output

So, i have two output, one being Speaker and another one being Headphone. I always set the headphone to be the primary device output. But after a while i got a fresh windows installed, my steam games is always output the audio to the speaker and not headphone, and it require me to change output in windows to speaker then back to headphone. I tried everything and it didn't solve anything until i reinstall my windows, then after quite sometimes the same problem returned. I tried disable my speaker and it didn't work, it'll cause the game to not have any sound at all

Hello there! I am Charity, I'm an Independent Advisor. I'm glad to help you today!

May I ask what is the make and model of your Laptop, or your Desktop's motherboard?

Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog.

Type msinfo32 and press Enter. This opens the System Information window.

In the System Summary section, look for the following:

System Summary: View general information such as the operating system version, processor details, and installed memory (RAM).
Components > Display: Find details about your graphics card.
BaseBoard Manufacturer: This is your motherboard's manufacturer.
BaseBoard Product: This is your motherboard's model number.

Kind Regards,
Charity
