Hi Sherndonru,

Welcome to Microsoft Answers.

·         Is the device listed under Device Manager?

i.                    Open Device Manager by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager.‌ If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

ii.                  In Device Manager, Check if the Sony Camcorder is listed.

As of now, there are no updated drivers available for your Sony camcorder for Vista. You may have to contact them for any assistance: http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/contact-land.pl?mdl=DCRTRV140

However, you can try running it in the compatible mode if you have the disc for the Sony camcorder.

1. Right click on the .exe file and then select properties.

2. Click the Compatibility tab.

3. Put a check mark against “Run this program in compatibility mode for”.

4. Then select “Windows XP (Service pack 2) from the drop down menu.

5. Click on Ok and then try to install the game.
