[SOLVED] Windows Update - KB4512941 not installing correctly on Lenovo Legion Y520 15IKBN BSOD

Hi,

i have received notification about KB4512941 from 30.08.2019 and tried 4 times to install it with different options on my Lenovo Legion Y520 15IKBN without success.

I have access to 2 other PCs - one Asus and one Lenovo but business class, where update installs without issue.

The update installs much more faster on my PC than the other 2 - both automatic or when i download the .msu  package.

I have tried disabling the AVG Free antivirus, delayed start of the antivirus, disabling driver signatures Option in CMD : SC config trustedinstaller start=auto - without effect

I always get PAGE NOT FOUND IN NONPAGED AREA BSOD

Any advices ?

The driver that appears to cause the crash is the ArcSec.sys :

BugCheck 50, {ffffe10ca30524e8, 0, fffff80121f46d15, 2}

*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for ArcSec.sys

Could not read faulting driver name
Probably caused by : ArcSec.sys ( ArcSec+6d15 )

The ArcSec.sys is a ArcSoft driver.

Can you uninstall any ArcSoft software such as TotalMedia Theatre and then try the update again.

If no Arcsoft software is installed post back.
