Slideshow Background Not Working

I wanted to start using a slideshow lockscreen background recently so I made a new folder with all the pictures I wanted. After opening the lockscreen settings I changed the wallpaper to slideshow and deleted the default albums that were already there. For some reason, after I choose the folder i made, the settings for slideshow lockscreen don't pop up like it's supposed to. The folder I want does appear in the list of albums though. I don't know what I did wrong but please help.

I have tried all of the solutions in all of the given links except one. None of them seem to work for me :(. The only other option I didn't try was to roll back to an older version of windows which I don't think I will do. Thanks for the suggestions Greg. if there's anything else I could try I would greatly appreciate the help.

Hi again -

See if you can set the Desktop Background slideshow within Windows, or the Screensaver slideshow that supercedes the Lock Screen, to work:

https://www.onlinecomputertips.com/support-cate...

If these don't work then try to fix them as this may also fix the Lock Screen slideshow:

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask any questions. Based on the results you post back I may have other suggestions if necessary.
