Should I install win 7, 8.1 or reinstall win 10

Hi everyone who read this post, I have a question about reinstall the windows to improve performance. My Operate System is: i5-5200U, 4gb RAM, 120GB SSD, No GPU support, iGPU HD Graphics 5500. Should I install win 7, win 8.1 or reinstall win 10?

For best performance, you should re-install the same operating system that was on the computer when it left the factory.

Whatever operating system you ultimately choose, you'll want to be certain that the operating system has driver support for your hardware.

How I know the first operating system for my laptop using? This laptop is used from my Dad and he has extended his laptop to me. After extended, the laptop has installed windows 10. I had asked him and he didn't know?

Thanks. Should I install the windows lite? I heard windows lite isn't too heavy, it's suitable for all the computer which the operate system is lower than.

Your specs are ample for Windows 10.

Be aware that support for Windows 7 ended a while ago and for 8.1 will end soon. Windows 10 is supported until 2025 though.

Microsoft has not made any kind of official announcement about Windows Lite and it is not recommended to use it. Downloading it from unknown sources is quite risky.

Your CPU i5200U is not supported.

After the end of the announced support for Windows 10, there will be many devices with the same problem.

In my opinion the market will take care of that, and options will be available for those customers closer to that date.
