Can I create a shortcut on Microsoft edge for gmail account
Hi Dorothy

Open Edge

Navigate to Gmail and login

Then click the icon indicated in the image below to add Gmail to the Favorites in Edge . . .

I'm Stefano an Independent Advisor, here to help you.
Yes, you can. In order to do so, you need to enable Favorites. To do so, follow this guide:

Once done, go to your gmail account, then click on the start on address bar, select "Favorite's bar" and click on "Add". This way you will have a shortcut to gmail on Edge.

SHORTCUT ON DESKTOP
Copy the below line by selecting it and CTRL+C
%windir%\explorer.exe microsoft-edge:https://www.gmail.com

Windows Key+D (or M) to show Desktop > Right click on Desktop > New > Shortcut
CTRL+V to paste above copied line > Next > Give it some name & Finish

SHORTCUT IN EDGE ITSELF
Open a new tab in Edge
Click a + symbol under Top sites
Add following URL - https://www.gmail.com
