Several .exe files changed to .lnk Files

This whole thing happened when i download PaintrigV3 For Blender, All of my Programs, Shortcuts, Windows Files got this weird name called (.LNK) And i thought this was normal when my friend told me it was a malware i got shocked, I Delete the malware and start Quick Scan Several times get nothing cleared, I Attempted to Reset windows and get nothing cleared cause i have not much time. How do i restore my .LNK Files back to my files?
Hi ahmadfauzan4

I am Dave, an Independent Advisor, I will help you with this . . .

You should first run a full scan with the free version of MalwareBytes to remove the LNK virus

https://www.malwarebytes.com/

Then, that malware have reset some file associations in your registry, below are links to reg files that will reset the file associations for you, download each one, then right click the resulting reg file and select 'Merge' then confirm the merge

Then restart your PC when you are finished
