Andre,
Thanks for the response, but it didn't work. When I get to the screen that wants to know if I want to automatically save files to OneDrive, it just stops. The "next" button fades out and nothing happens. I let it sit like that for about three hours,
but nothing. I'm used to [CTL-ALT-DEL] to get out of a locked situation and allow a reboot, but even that didn't work. I did a hard power off, and when I powered up it just came back to the same screen. So I did a hard power off and removed the battery.
Counted for ten seconds, reinstalled the battery and powered it up. The whole set-up process started from scratch and stopped as before when I got to the "Save Files to OneDrive" screen.
This is a brand-new out of the box laptop (Expensive one, too). It's going back to the store tomorrow. But, thanks for trying anyway.
Shame on Microsoft for publishing such a crappy product.
