Screen Saver Function Not Working On Windows 10

I am running Windows 10 Version 22H2 (OS BUILD 19045.2965). I have been through my settings in detail for screen saver configuration. Yet, screen saver never initiates. A few months ago, screen saver function worked appropriately. Now, when the screen times out, it just goes black. Are there any simple fixes here?

I used the process as you suggested, but nothing occurs differently. After the default screen idle time, the screen display goes black; no screen saver. When the computer goes to sleep, the screen remains black; no screen saver.
