Hello,Foxtrot24 Gamer

Welcome to posting in the Microsoft Community.

Thank you very much for sharing your problem video and detailed description, we can feel your distress and annoyance when you encounter this situation. Based on your description, the issue may be due to a compatibility issue brought about by a recent Windows update or driver update. You mentioned that you disabled Brave's graphics acceleration, which suggests that you've tried some good troubleshooting methods. Next, we can try the following to get to the bottom of your problem:

1. Check that your graphics drivers are up to date

Since screen flickering is usually associated with display drivers, it is recommended that you update to the latest drivers for your graphics card:

  • If you are using a graphics card from NVIDIA, AMD or Intel, you can head over to their official websites and download the latest version of the graphics card driver.

  • If your drivers are already up to date, try to enhance driver compatibility by installing a couple of older drivers from the graphics card manufacturer's official website to see if the flickering problem can be alleviated.

  • Use a tool such as DDU to completely remove the current driver and its residual files and registry entries to avoid problems caused by incomplete driver updates or file conflicts, thus providing a clean base for new driver installations.

  • If the problem persists, you can get feedback with the hardware manufacturer to get more driver versions for debugging.

2. Uninstalling updates

You can try to see if the uninstall options in the WinRE recovery environment will roll back the system to a previous version, they are usually more thorough than the built-in uninstalls.

  • Click the Start button in the bottom left corner of the screen and select Settings.

  • In the Settings window, click on Windows Update and in the left menu, select Recovery.

  • In the Advanced Startup section, click the Restart Now button. This will restart your computer and take you to the advanced startup options.

  • From the options that appear, select Troubleshooting > Advanced Options > Uninstalling updates.

After you refer to the above steps, you can share some information in this thread and I will answer your questions further. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

Best Regards,
