SCR 3310 card reader not working properly on Win 11

Please see attached pic.

So I have installed everything needed to login to .mil sites (certs, software, etc.) and everything works up until it prompts me to enter my pin. The reader is brand new (swapped it out thinking it was the issue). I just get the prompt you can see in the picture. I have a back up laptop with win 10 that it works just fine on...but I would really like to get this to work on my main computer.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks,

Claudio

Hello Jessie Claudio and welcome to the Microsoft Community!

According to your feedback, you are experiencing a problem with inserting an SD card into your computer.

I would like to confirm with you what error is displayed when your computer inserts the SD card and it doesn't work?

You can take a picture and upload it to me.

Alternatively, you can insert the SD card and enter the pin code, then click on the windows key.

Then you can search for “disk management” and see if your sd card appears and is assigned a disk letter?

In addition, you can try to enter the device manager to see if the sdcard can be recognized.

If it does, you can create a new account and see if that helps your problem.

1. Search for CMD, then run it in administrator mode and enter the following command

net user USERNAME PASSWORD /add

2. After the command runs successfully, enter the following command

net localgroup administrators USERNAME /add

Note: USERNAME PASSWORD can be replaced by the account name and password you want, if you don't need the password, you can not fill in the PASSWORD.

We hope you find the above information helpful!
