Saved Pictures Folder keeps coming up on my Desktop

For some reason a folder named “Saved Pictures” (path C;\Users\Tony\Desktop) comes up when I startup. I then delete it and in the course of a day it just appears 4 or 5 more times. There is nothing in the folder.

Why is this happening?

Saved Pictures is a defined System folder (just like Documents, Pictures, etc). Normally it's created as a subfolder of Pictures, but it sounds like yours has been redirected to the Desktop.

The next time it appears, don't delete it, but instead open it's Properties. select the Location tab, and either type a path similar to:

C:\Users\keith\Pictures\Saved Pictures

or use the Move button to navigate to Pictures and create a New Folder named Saved Pictures.

If you don't want it as a separate folder, just select your existing Pictures folder.
