Hello Maxence,

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.

Regret the inconvenience you have experienced.

Are you able to see the driver listed for the keyboard in Device Manager?

If yes, then try the below mentioned troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

  1. Open run command by pressing Windows key + R and type “devmgmt.msc” (without quotes) and hit Enter.

  2. Spot and expand the “Keyboards” by clicking + sign in front of Keyboards.

  3. Right-click the device driver listed below keyboards and select “Update Driver Software”. When it prompts to choose an option How do you want to search driver, then go with Search automatically for updated driver software. If you have a driver available on your PC, then select Browse my computer for driver software, then select the appropriate location, where the driver located on your PC for updating it. (Ensure that PC is connected to Internet while performing this step)

  4. If it doesn't fix the issue then right-click the same device driver listed below Keyboards and select Uninstall.

  5. Click OK to confirm removal of the device.

  6. Restart the system. Windows will detect and automatically install the Keyboard driver.

Now see if it fix the issue.

Keep us posted if you require further assistance.

My Eclipse Multimedia Keyboard does not appear in the keyboard section.

Hello Maxence,

Thank you for getting back to us with an update.

I see you tried installing the drivers in compatibility mode, through manual selection of previous operating system. Suggest you try installing the drivers in compatibility mode by allowing system to choose the previous operating system automatically.

Compatibility mode runs the program using settings from a previous version of Windows. Follow these steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if that helps.

a. Download the latest and available driver from the manufacturer’s website.

b. Uninstall the existing driver from your PC through Control Panel.

c. Right-click on the driver setup file and click on ‘Properties’.

d. Go to ‘Compatibility’ tab and click Run compatibility troubleshooter, then select Try recommended setting and click Next again Next. Now it will ask you to Test the program, click on it and continue with installation. Once this is done, check if everything works fine. If it does, go back to Test the program window and click Next, then save the setup file with that settings. Reboot your PC and see it resolve the issue.

Keep us posted the outcome.

Hello Yashwanth,

I try this procedure but a problem occurs when I'm in the driver instalation.

The driver asks me to connect my controller.

But when I connect my keyboard, the lights on my keyboard open for a few seconds and then closes.

Windows does not recognize my Saitek Eclipse III Keyboards.

I hope you have another idea! :D

Hello Maxence,

I understand the inconvenience you have experienced.

Since we have tried installing the drivers in all possible way, but the problem still appears. I suspect that the device is incompatible with windows 10 due to unavailability of compatible drivers. Try to perform a repair In-place upgrade by connecting the keyboard to your PC. This action might probably fix the issue. A repair In-place upgrade will repair operating system files while preserving your personal files, settings and installed applications.

We recommend you to take a Backup of personal and important files to avoid unwanted situations.

How to: perform a repair upgrade using the Windows 10 ISO file

Note: If you’ve already successful activated Windows 10 on this PC, including if you upgraded by taking advantage of the free upgrade offer you won't need to enter a Windows 10 product key. You can skip the product key page by selecting the Skip button. Your PC will automatically activate later.

Keep us posted the outcome.
