Running Taipei game from original WEP games in Windows 7 (64bit)

I have a new Windows 7 64-bit pc and the Taipei game from the original WEP Games won't play.  Win7 reports thsi game is incompatible.  This game ran just fine on my previous 32 bit Vista & XP pro systems.  I've tried the various compatibilty modes & nothing seems to work.  Any Ideas???

Hi Mboltman,

Welcome to Microsoft Answers!

How are you trying to play the games (installing from CD\DVD)?

Do you get any error message when you try to play the games?

Which version of Windows 7 in installed on your computer?

There is also an inbuilt game of the same type that you are trying to play. You may check if the feature is turned on or off for your computer.

Mahjong Titans is available on premium editions of Windows 7.

To turn Windows features on or off, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Start button, click Control Panel, click Programs, and then click Turn Windows features on or off

If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  1. To turn a Windows feature on, select the check box next to the feature. To turn a Windows feature off, clear the check box. Click OK.
