Running PC 24/7

Hi, How do I set my PC to run 24/7 ??
Hello there! Hopefully I can help you today

Go to control panel > hardware and sound > power options > edit plan settings > set both boxes to never. Your PC will never turn off

Windows doesn't shut down unless you have power options set off to sleep.
If you set up the system to run 24/7 make sure your hardware is capable of doing it.

Any computer will run 24/7 if you do not log off, shut down, hibernate or sleep.

Check your power option settings and turn them all off.

Hi Wendy,

Open Control Panel - Power Options

Click into your current Power Plan and turn off the Sleep options

Then click 'Change Advanced Power Settings'

In the resulting dialog, go through each option to make sure none of your hardware is set to turn off your PC
