Return to Classic View on Windows 10

A friend of mine has changed the view on my desktop back to Windows 8.1 look and since have found that it takes my computer a long time to boot up (up to 5 mins).

How can I change this back to the Original Windows 10 Look please?

I suggest you to check the settings from personalization.

  • Type Settings in the search box.

  • Click on Personalization.

  • Click Start.

  • Turn ‘OFF’ Use Full screen mode from Right Pane.

For boot up issue you can run the in-built troubleshooter and check if it helps.

  • Type control panel on the search tab in the task bar.

  • Type control panel on the search tab (top right corner).

  • Type troubleshooting on the right.

  • Click on view all.

  • Choose Performance and Maintenance.

  • Follow the on screen steps.

When Microsoft completed the recent update by righthand clicking on "Start" then "Exit" it all worked fine again.
