There is no direct option to clear the history appearing in the search bar but you may use the below provided registry
editing steps and check if these help -
1. Press Win+R and type regedit and press Enter. If the UAC prompts you, click yes.
2. Go to the keyHKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\WordWheelQuery
Right click on ‘WordWheelQuery’ and choose the Delete option. Click yes in the confirmation dialog to permanently delete the history.
3. Close the Registry Editor
