Reinstalling Windows Live Mail

How can I reinstall Windows Live Mail. It seems to have disappeared together with all my folders and contacts.

Windows Essentials doesn't just disappear by itself. Either you uninstalled it using the Windows Live Add/Remove Programs applet (wlarp.exe, also accessed through Programs and Features), or else you re-installed Windows using a procedure that also removed programs you had installed yourself. Perhaps it's just the program shortcut that has gone missing.

What happens if you press Windows key + R to open a Run box, then type wlmail and press Enter?

According to MVP Bruce Hagen's post earlier on January 8, this is the only link available now to re-instal WLM

Just read his post earlier when looking for a solution to a different problem and know that he generally gives excellent advice.
