Redirect Windows 11 start menu search in Edge to Google instead of Bing

Hello, Community. Google is my default search engine in Edge. When I do a web search from the Start Menu, however, it opens Bing in Edge. Is there a way to make it open Google in Edge? The only workarounds I have found so far require using a different browser than Edge. Edge is my preferred browser, so I would like the Start Menu web searches to open Google in Edge instead of Bing in Edge. Thanks!

Hi TerryReagan, I am Paulo and I'd like to help.

Since Bing is associated with the Start menu, there's no native way to redirect your searches to another search engine. However, you can try to install this Chrome extension on your Edge browser and see if that works. I've tried it and it works for me.
