Recovery of permanently deleted folder - windows 10

Hi Everyone,

I need some urgent help with the following.

Accidentally clicked on the Yes on the warning message below.

"Deleting an online-only file permanently removes it from your PC without sending it to the Recycle Bin. Are you sure you want to continue?"

I have put all my files in one folder from my desktop and I just wanted to put it on the side to reorganized them later. I put the folder in the recycle bin when the warning message pop up and I accidentally pressed Yes on it.

The folder was very big as I had a lots of files in it, video files as well.

The folder disappeared immanently.

I did not see any loading process as I see when I deleting big files from the PC.

I have checked the recycle bin in my desktop and the recycle bin in my online One Drive storage, I could not find the folder.

My online One Drive storage is full.

I have tried three data recovering softer to find my folder, but they could not find it as well.

I have back up the PC but no luck.

I would like to know how to recover my deleted file?
Some of the deleted documents are extremely important for me.

Please help!
Many thanks,
Oliver

Hello, I am an independent consultant willing to help.

I could use the ShadowExplorer program.
I explain a little bit about how the program works.

As you will see, the program is divided into three zones. The top part allows you to choose the unit from which to retrieve a copy of a file, and the date on which you want to recover that copy.

In the left column, you have access to the system folders / directories.

In the right column appear the recoverable files existing on that date that you chose at the top.

You only have to check if you have a copy of the file you want to recover that is not encrypted, and with the right mouse button on that file, select the "Export" option.

If the above did not work, you could use some data recovery application. You could try the demo versions of the Ontrack Easy Recovery Professional and EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard Professional programs to see if you could recover your files with these tools:

Ontrack data recovery software:
https://www.ontrack.com/en/products/ontrack-eas...

EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard Professional:
https://www.easeus.com/datarecoverywizardpro/http

I hope this information solve your problem.

Best regards,
Cristhian

Thank you so much for the prompt reply and the useful information!

I have found the short cuts of the missing files with the date recovery program as you can see on the pictures attached.

They are on the C.drive ... Picture of the link attached.

When I transferred one file's short cut to my PC and tried to open it it doesn't work.

How can I get access to the real file?

Many thanks,

Oliver
