Record sound with video using snipping tool.

How can I record sound with video when using snipping tool.

Snipping tool cannot do anything except save page snips. To screen record from Windows 11 there are options here:

I have, in fact, recorded a video with the snipping tool (a new feature recently added) however I was not able to record the audio as well. Can you help me with that.?

The most recent article on the new Snipping tool which records video says this: "As of now, the app only helps to record video without any sound."

Until this feature is further developed you'll need to use one of the other options I provided to do screen recordings with Sound.

Out-of-character for Microsoft to launch a "half-baked" feature. Video without sound belongs in the '20's (1920 that is).

Good point! Maybe they thought having moving picture snips was useful for certain things (like capturing Feedback?) and that GameDVR already covers "talkies."

If you want to express your opinion on this you may be able to help Microsoft improve this product/feature by using the Feedback Hub in Start Menu. While they will not see it here, Microsoft developers DO read feedback from customers that comes in via the Feedback Hub, so that is a great way to share your thoughts on how to better serve you as a customer.

Just a little awkward to sync the audio and video.

Rondance, thank you for the effort. Unfortunately, it requires a special talent which is beyond this operator to keep the audio and video in sync. Fortunately, I was able to find a free app, ShareX, which produces excellent results and is relatively easy to use. Thanks again for your help.
