Readyboost tab missing after 22h2 update

Ready boost tab is missing after windows 11 22H2 Update please tell any solution.

sfc/scannow couldn't find any currupted files

Windows supports the following form factors for ReadyBoost:

  • USB 2.0 flash disks

  • Secure Digital (SD) cards

  • CompactFlash cards.

Currently win11 Pro & O365 Bus, multiple devices

Its possible that its missing if they added new checks and determined its of no use for you. Missing things is legit in Windows and they like to do that with no explanation at all because they think that's great. That would align it with other areas in Windows as pre-22h2 it does show if its disabled. But, there could be other legit reasons. Its not necessarily OS corruption or a bug.

I'd say there's a high chance that its not there on purpose. It can go missing if the drive category changed or something (how Windows views it). Who knows if they don't put in UI bits to say.

I have a hdd

And 4 gb ram

And i was using readyboost for past 1 year and after the win 11 22h2 upgrade the tab is missin

If you have a HDD, that ReadyBoost option should be available, unless Windows thinks you have an SSD, this can happen due to a bug in Windows, open the Defragmenting utility, is your drive reported as an HDD or an SSD?

I've been using it for awhile and after 22h2 it is no longer avalible and I desperately need it. Otherwise things take 3-4 minutes to load. Even something as simple as a web browser. I have a very slow 1TB hard drive and 6GB ram.
