Program not working in Windows 11

I transferred my ArcSoft PhotoImpression 5 from my windows 10 pc to my new windows 11 pc. Now it won't open any picture I try to open. I get a pop-up window that says the picture is invalid or not supported. Yes, I have run the "Combatibility Troubleshooter" over and over! Help please.

Hi Mike

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

1
Did you also move over all your photos in the same folder structure to your new PC?

2
When you say you transferred PhotoImpression 5 to the new PC, what method did you use, did you have the installer and use that to install that application?

Hi Dave!

Thanks for the quick response! No, I do not have the installer. I did have the installer disk when I installed it the first time on Windows XP. Since then, I've just been transferring the Arcsoft Program folder from Computer to Computer. And, the same with the pictures folder. I have been searching for a Arcsoft PhotoImpression 5 installer file on Google with no results. I'm pretty sure version 5 is copyrighted by ArcSoft. So, that is probably the reason why nobody is offering it online. In the past, I did the version 6 trial. But I didn't like it all. So, I am trying to stick with version 5 if that is at all possible! I just purchased a version 5 New Disk on ebay for 10 bucks. I mean, I will have to wait a week to get it. But, I thought I would see if someone else has had the same problem and has found a fix. It would be my guess that after i install it from the disk, it will work.

Hi Mike

Yes, I think you are correct, if you install that software from a disk, I think it will work correctly, it is rare for software copied from one PC to another will work correctly.
