Problems installing Update KB3033929

I'm trying to install McAfee Total Protection on my HP computer.  It tells me it can't install until I get Windows update KB3033929.  I downloaded the update, but when I try to install it I get error message 0x80080005.

I read about the problems others were having and how they got around it but I don't even know how to look up what updates have been installed on this computer so I'm lost as far as trying to fix this myself.

How can I deal with this?

KB3033929 cannot be applied after the September 2016 Update Rollup. Uninstall any and all instances of the Security Quality Monthly Rollup, install KB3033929 and reinstall the Security Quality Monthly Rollup.

Unfortunately I'm not a computer expert and haven't even been able to find what updates have been installed on my computer.  How do I find them?

Start Menu - All Programs - Windows Update - Left pane: Installed Updates.
