Problems installing update KB292345

I have tried several times to install update KB292345 for Windows 7 but keep getting error message 8024200D. Can anybody help me out?

This issue may occur due to the following reasons given below.

•A program on your computer interfered with the installation of the service pack.

•There is an inconsistency in the Windows Servicing Store.

I would suggest you to try the following steps:

Method 1: Run Microsoft windows update troubleshooter.

When you try to install the latest updates from Windows Update, you will sometimes receive an error message.

Method 2: If the issue does not resolve try to reset the windows update component.

Try to reset the Windows Update Components and see if it helps. Refer the below mentioned article for the same.

Method 3: If the issue does not resolve Run system update readiness tool according to system type.

Fix Windows corruption errors by using the DISM or System Update Readiness tool.

Note: Typically, the scan takes 15 minutes or less, but it can take longer on some computers. The Windows Update progress bar is not updated during the scan, and progress can appear to stop at 60% complete. This behavior is expected. The scan is still running and you shouldn't cancel the update.
