Problem signing into Money 2007 with Windows Live ID

I have been using Money 2007 since 2007 with no problem. 3 days ago it would not let me sign in using my Windows live ID and password. It said wrong id or password or the servers were down. So I changed the password and still can't sign in.

I am having the exact same problem!  Have used money for years with no problems logging on.  Have all my financial data there.  last logged on 11/15/10 no problems.  Now I get the same message and cannot log on without online services either.  Ive changed mypassword several times to no avail.  I'm glad its just not me!  Please someone with answers please help!

Same problem. Can't sign in the last 24 hours at least. :-(

It's said to check Windows Live Services (passport) and I can login there no problem, and there are no problems according to the network status page....

There has to be a problem with microsofts end for this many people to have the same problem starting the same time.  I have tried using the "new" sunset edition of money plus with no online services, same problem.  I've tried importing into a Quicken program, same problem.  I've tried all 3 backups and another copy of money, same problem.  I'm currently using a password restore program (paid for by me) to try and crack whatever password has been placed on my file.  I'll see how that works.

Exact same issue.  Last successful update was 11/17/2010.  I'm finding this all very frustrating.

Well, MS Money is basically going to become a doorstop in less than two months anyway (Jan 2011), so it's possible they flipped the switch early.  You did know that, right?  http://www.microsoft.com/money

I've been (unsuccessfully) trying to switch to Mint.com, but there really isn't any alternative.  We all need to get used to it, though.  In a few days (if not right now), MS Money will no longer support any online functionality.

Same issue here.  As to completely shutting down use of Money, we were supposed to be able to still have access to the software, but there was going to no longer be access to data downloads and so on.  Accessing the use of the software was not suppose to go away.  This is very troubling.
