Any Win Key for an OEM version of win is supplied by the PC maker, there should be a label on the base of the laptop, or possibly in the battery compartment.

Any win recovery disks made as per Acer instructions do not require any Key to be used. The Win Key is only required if you install a generic win7 version obtained from Digital River

I finally solve a similar problem by running a repair of Windows Essentials 2012.  Now running below 5% when idling or viewing loaded browser.

I recently installed Microsoft Security Essentials and have been running at 100% CPU every single time I turn on the computer since its installation.  I cannot figure it out why and have no idea how to fix it.  I need the security program so I do not want to uninstall it (although I have uninstalled & reinstalled and it did not fix the problem).  I have Windows 7 so I don't think the svchost bug is the problem.  Please help!!

It seems that the taskhost process is eating your CPU

Your system may be affected by malware. Try to scan with other security software such as http://www.microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/ . It recommended to use only one antivirus software at a time. If it doesnt solve your problem try using System File Checker.

Start -> Right click on run ->Run as administrator -> sfc /scannow

This will Verify the System Files Integrity and will replace with Original Version.
