I cannot print from Edge nor my Microsoft mail / office.  The Cannon printer works fine printing from Firefox and Google chrome.

Nothing so far seems to be helping.

Thank you for the reply, JamesMiner2.

We have come across this issue and our Developer team is investigating and working on it.

As the printer is working fine with Firefox and Google Chrome, kindly go ahead using the same until Microsoft Edge is stable. However, I would like to know if the following KB Updates were installed on your PC:

  • KB4493509 from April 9, 2019 (OS Build 17763.437)
  • KB4489899 from March 12, 2019 (OS Build 17763.379)

We await your response.

You may also follow the section How do I remove an installed update? From Windows Update: FAQ and uninstall the below 2 updates.

1) KB4493509

2) KB4489899

Note: Restart the computer once after uninstalling the above two updates and check if you are able to print from Microsoft Edge.

If it doesn’t work after uninstalling those Windows Updates, kindly wait for some time as our Developer team is working on it. Once it’s fixed, they will include that in the future updates.

Hi JamesMiner2

No such KB's installed on laptop. The installed version is Windows 10 Home always up to date.

The last update was installed this morning. The print problem is from Post / Mail and no other apps affected, I don't know about Edge.
