PLEASE ASSIST ME !!

Ok apparently I seem to have a bunch of issues, I don't have a domain IP address (Ethernet) when I connect my Laptop to my Xbox One. Secondly my DCHP server won't respond properly, and I can't renew  it since I get a "No operation can be performed on Local Area Connection* 10 while it has its media disconnected." I have tried to do System Restore many times, tried to setup my own domain but nothing works. Even when I connect my laptop through my router, I still get a domain IP. PLEASE HELP I HAVE BEEN TRYING SO HARD TO FIX THIS ISSUE BUT I CAN'T FIND A SOLUTION

Ok so, I already have tried using Option B, but still no progress. I soon tried to troubleshoot my network adapters and I got the "Ethernet" doesn't have a valid IP configuration. Any help? Also I can't renew/release my ipconfig, since I get a "No operation can be performed on Local Area Connection* 10 while it has its media disconnected." message.
