Pin code needed

I have set up a new email account after changing my name by deedpoll. When I set it up I wasn't given a pin code, however when I try to set up the account on my windows 10 outlook it keeps asking for a pin code, and won't let me add the account without, and just tells me to either use windows hellp or go to settings-accounts-sign in options, but I can't see this option on either the outlook app, or on my email account online...any help greatly appreciated.

Microsoft created features such as sign-in options like a PIN or a password that makes it easier to authenticate yourself on a PC. To create a PIN, you may follow the steps below:

  1. Type Settings in the Search bar, then press Enter.
  2. Select Accounts, then click Sign-in options.
  3. Under PIN option, click Add.





  4. Enter your account password when prompted.
  5. Enter a new 6 digit PIN and select Finish.
