Microsoft recently announced upcoming support for iOS devices in the Phone link app. Earlier, only Android phones were supported. Correspondingly, this article explains using the Phone link app in case you use an Apple iPhone, or an iPad.
Prerequisites for Phone Link app
A PC running Windows 11.
An iPhone device running iOS 14.0 or later and a working camera.
Phone Link app version 1.23012.169.0 or newer from the Microsoft Store
Windows 11 PC must have Bluetooth
How to Setup Phone link for iOS
First, open the Phone link app on your Laptop. Choose iPhone when prompted. If you also have an Android phone, you can add the device using Settings>My Devices and click the Add Device button.
Next, you will see a QR Code. In your iOS device, open the Camera App and scan the QR Code.
Click Proceed on the next screen and wait.
Now, confirm the prompts on both your iPhone and your Laptop to confirm pairing.
Open Bluetooth Settings on your iPhone and click the (i) button. Ensure the Share notifications, Sync Contacts etc. are turned on.
Click Done, and it should show something like this:
