Phone Companion app

I have just installed the latest Windows 10 update to my laptop, all fine.

Looked at new features and tried the Phone Companion app - seemed to end up in a loop of updating so came out, restarted, and all fine, works well with my Galaxy S6 phone.

Went to install Phone Companion app on my android tablet [Galaxy 4S] - message was that app in incompatible with device. Shame as I use both laptop and tablet to link to text messaging with my phone using the Mighty Text app.

To appeal to a broader base and take up of the app Microsoft needs to make app compatible .

Or is there a workaround I have missed ?

The Phone Companion app only works on Android Versions 7 and above.

If MS really wanted to reach out.to Android users then at least Android 5 should be supported especially in poor countries

Sorry, AFAIK the app is not available for Android Tablets. I would ask someone above if there is some workaround available or it is going to be available soon.

Oops. I see the Android version is too old of your Phone. I am not sure if Your Phone would be available to you in future.

The app works fine with my phone - it is the android tablet that is being kept out of the loop.
