This week all my PDF files starting opening on my web browser. I don't know why this changed from opening on the server, but I want to change it back. Does anyone know how this can be changed?

I am Ganesh Gandhi, an Independent Advisor, 18 years experienced windows guide. I am here to work with you on this problem.
Kindly follow these steps to disable PDF files opening in the browser
- Open Adobe Reader/Acrobat.
- Click on the 'Edit' menu then 'Preferences'
- Click on 'Internet' on the side bar.
- Under 'Web Browser Options' untick 'Display PDF in browser'
- Click 'OK' to save the changes.
To change the default PDF open behavior when using a web browser:
1. Choose Edit—>Preferences
2. Select the Internet category from the list on the left
3. To display the PDF in the browser, check "Display in browser"
4. To open PDFs from the web directly in Acrobat, uncheck "Display in browser:

Most likely a Windows Update has changed your file associations
Tight click a PDF file, choose 'Open With' - Choose Another App
Check the box marked 'Always use this app to open pdf . . .'
If Acrobat is not in the list, scroll to the bottom and click 'More Apps'
Again if Acrobat is not in the list, at the bottom, click 'Look for another app on this PC', then navigate to find the Acrobat in C:\Program Files\Adobe and select that
Power to the Developer!

Thank you Dave, I did this and it worked ... to some extent.
When I receive attachments by email, they are still opening by microsoft edge and not Adobe. Very frustrating!
