PCI driver and SM Bus Controller missing update

Hello,

I am trying to figure out why I cannot update the PCI options under device manager. This is a complete new build, with all new parts. I have uninstalled everything and reinstalled everything fresh and this still shows up. Any help would be so much appreciated.

My specs are:

CPU: i9 10850K

GPU: GTX 1080 Founders Edition

Storage: two Samsung 970 M.2 NVMe SSDs (Installed in M.2_2 & M.2_3 slots, both show up as usable)

RAM:  (8 x 2) Corsair Vengeance Pro 3200 mhz

PSU: EVGA 1000w 80 plus gold

OS: Windows 10 home 64bit

There are 3 PCI devices that show it needs update, but when I try to find the update to install it says it cannot find it. This is the same for the SM Bus Controller (it also shows another option called "unknown device"

The first PCI device says:

Code 28

PCI bus 0, device 21, function 1

Device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_43E9&SUBSYS_86941043&REV_11\3&11583659&0&A9 requires further installation.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

The second PCI device says:

Code 28

PCI bus 0, device 31, function 5

Device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_43A4&SUBSYS_86941043&REV_11\3&11583659&0&FD requires further installation.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

The third PCI device says:

Code 28

PCI bus 0, device 21, function 0

Device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_43E8&SUBSYS_86941043&REV_11\3&11583659&0&A8 requires further installation.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

SM Bus Controller says this:

Code 28

PCI bus 0, device 31, function 4

Device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_43A3&SUBSYS_86941043&REV_11\3&11583659&0&FC requires further installation.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Unknown Device says this:

Code 28

on Microsoft ACPI-Compliant System

Device ACPI\INT34C6\2&daba3ff&1 requires further installation.

Hello xxFyrus,
I'm independant advisor,

The problem is related to the lack of driver for your motherboard, can you indicate the brand and model of your motherboard?

By going to the motherboard manufacturer's website, you should find the missing drivers to download and install.

Best regards
Ludwig

Thank you for your reply.

I actually did install most of them, however before you replied I went back and installed some of the drivers that I thought were just old versions. This cleared the problem.

I do have a question however. Before I did a clean reinstall and booted up my PC for the first time, I did the same exact thing (didn't install all of the mobo drivers). When I downloaded a game I went to get a drink and when I came back, I noticed I got a blue screen. This was incredibly shocking to me because I've never gotten one before. Do you think the blue screen may have happened because of not installing all the drivers? I noticed that the white light on my motherboard would randomly show up too, but since I did a fresh reinstall of everything, it hasn't done that yet.

It is necessary to install all the drivers provided by the manufacturer of the motherboard so that this one functions in optimal conditions.
So it is possible that this blue screen is related to the fact that you had not installed all the drivers, but the first thing to do when you get a blue screen is to remember the code that is given with this blue screen so you know if the problem is hardware or software.
I don't know the brand and model of your motherboard so I don't know what this white light is for, so please provide more details regarding the motherboard.

Very well thank you.

This blue screen indicates that the system was no longer powered which can be due to several factors, you indicated that you were downloading a game, it is possible that your CPU was not sufficiently cooled and that your pc safe, check the temperatures of the CPU and other components of your system when performing heavy tasks. (Downloading large files, especially if you have a fiber connection, does a lot of work on your CPU.)

Regarding white light, where is it located on your motherboard?

How can you remember the cpu levels when the game download was done a few days ago before reinstalling your Windows system and you indicated that you were going to drink?

Are all the motherboard and graphics card drivers installed?
Have you installed the latest graphics card driver and is it properly plugged in / powered?
