MY PC was running perfectly until recently (around August) when it would start hard crashing after a certain amount of time in game. The amount of time it takes to crash actually has continually reduced. I've tried trouble shooting in many ways such as:
Checking if memory is running fine with WMD (event viewer report stated no issue apparent)
Updating all my drivers including deleting and reinstalling fresh drivers
Updating windows
And most recently I reset my pc which means I deleted all data on my drives and freshly installed windows again.
Checking GPU and CPU temperatures. CPU temps don't go over 65C-70C and GPU does not go over 77C (hot spot is around 90-95C)
I've also tried sfc/scannow with command prompt and that found now issues either.
The main consistency I've noticed is that the only type of games that my PC crashes on whilst playing are the demanding types such as read dead 2, helldivers 2, or Call of Duty BO6.
I've tested with smaller less stressful games and they perform fine with rarely no crashes. The only time it did crash was when playing Ashen (this was only once). It's also important to note that I haven't done any overclocking to my system.
My main suspicion is that it could be my PSU that's causing the issue with my PC since every other check I've done has stated there's no issue and I am in serious doubt that it's anything to do with my SSD's since they're all operating as normal.
I am starting to become fed up with the issue at this point since it has been several months since this issue first started, so any help at this point is appreciated.
My PC specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 3800XT 8-Core
GPU: ASUS ROG RTX 3080 10GB
Motherboard: ROG STRIX B550-A GAMING
PSU: Corsair RMx850
