payment method not showing up

Years ago I have added a credit card payment method to the microsoft store.

This has worked correct but now I have received a replacement card with a new/later expiration date which I want to adapt on microsoft.

When I choose "payment methods" menu in the sore it opens the item "payment options" but shows an empty/blanc screen under "add method": I cannot find my payment method/credit card.

In the upper of the page there is "notifications" which tells "your card will expire soon" .There is an update button but this does not function: I have updated the expire date and saved a while ago but there is again the notification "your card will expire soon"

I want to see the buttons "view" and "edit" of my payment method/credit card.

What if I want to remove the credit card?

1. Delete the cache and cookies of the browser you are using.
2. Try with another browser, and if possible in a private or incognito window to see if it allows you to add the data correctly.
3. Have you had any problems with the account other than this?
4. Have you tried adding the new card not as an update, but as a new payment method?

If this does not solve the problem, you will most likely have to contact Microsoft technical support, they will be able to access your account and make the necessary configurations to enable the options.

microsoft seems to like edge ;->

I have tried edge instead of firefox and it shows my payment method/credit card with the possibility to edit.
