outlook.live.com not working properly

I'm on Windows 10 22H2 PRO and use the website outlook.live.com for my hotmail email account.

This week I am once again losing the text cursor in both the subject line and the box to type the text of the email.

I deleted all the cookies and the text cursor came back but now the previews of the links I paste into the email are mostly not showing up. Is there a way to get those things working properly every day without having to keep deleting the cookies? Seriously can microsoft NOT fix this or should I find another email account to use.

I do NOT have any other outlook software on this computer.

Hello. I added purrrrple to my in type mode cursor and made the thickness wider and turned off blinking cursor. Add some EAC featues they can be helpful.

Win+R control.exe

Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Ease of Access Center\Make the computer easier to see

Hi. I'm Brian and I will do my best to help you.

I've never encountered the issues you describe, so it must be something local to your computer. Have you tried using a different browser to see if it might be a browser problem?

Thank you for the idea MR_MEOW. I did not see any way to make the cursor a different colour at that link but I really just want it to show up every time I need it.

Funny enough that image was not included in the emailed copy I received of your reply to my question. Sent from a microsoft website to another microsoft website, they're even blocking their own things now. I miss the days when Microsoft software worked properly.

Brian, sorry for the delay in replying. I had just been working on the three newsletters I send out each week with lots of links that really need the preview images in them when I first posted this problem. It took a couple of days to find new links to test with.

Today I had enough to do another test. But even though I had to once again delete all the cookies yesterday to get the flashing text cursor to show up I had to delete them again today as well. This is so annoying.

The first time it happened a few weeks ago it affected both my default browser Firefox and Chrome that I only use to test if a problem is caused by Firefox or the OS itself. Strangely deleting the cookies in Firefox seemed to fix the issue in Chrome as well.

In order to be able to get the website preview images to show up when outlook.live.com wouldn't put them onscreen I tried to use CTRL/V instead of only using the mouse. Sometimes they told me that was the only way to be able to do it by putting up a box with instructions to use keyboard not mouse. Sometimes it worked sometimes I had to close the draft and then reopen it to get that to work.

live.com has 13.9MB cookie storage, that seems excessive after only using it for half an hour.
