On Screen Keyboard Doesn't Work Right On WeChat

I have an Acer Aspire with detachable keyboard, running Windows 10, and I'm having trouble with the on screen keyboard. When I'm using the WeChat app, the on screen keyboard will not auto correct, show suggestions or capitalize the first letter of a sentence, even though I have those boxes checked in settings. It's really annoying and slows down my chat response time. This only happens on WeChat. Everywhere else, it works as it should. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've tried everything I can think of.

It has a different set of options/settings that you may need to reconfigure to enable those features that are currently missing.
